What to Expect with Fertility Counseling

Embarking on a fertility journey can be a very vulnerable and sacred chapter of life. Family planning is not always a linear road. (In)fertility can be taxing on a couple's or individual's mental health. This can impact how we experience sex and our bodies and uncover unexpected emotions. We will do an attachment intake for the first session, and I will gather some background—with subsequent sessions clocking in at 50-minutes. The intakes involve me getting to know you (and your partner) and what makes you uniquely you. We will discuss your family planning goals, what you have tried, and what you have not. I will also get to know your particular situation regarding physical health, mental health, and your support systems. We will discuss your goals, make sure you are resourced and that we have a shared vision of the path to parenthood moving forward for you. Together, we will ensure you have the proper support during this journey!
